ABOUT ME

Born in Mexico City and raised in Los Angeles, Sayuri Tanabe earned her BA in Art History and Visual Culture from the American University of Paris, along with an MSC in Art Business and Law from Glasgow University. Her ethnically diverse background and extensive time living and traveling abroad is the catalyst behind her desire to become an art advisor for both private collectors and institutions.

To Sayuri, art is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. She specializes in brokering deals to help others acquire art at rates comfortable for both artist and buyer alike, along with aiding in the curation and design of empty spaces through loaned art pieces.

Sayuri’s love and passion for art has also lead her to begin hosting curated art tours—both locally and abroad—which offer a more unique, abstract and experiential encounter through visits to esoteric art spaces, private collections, artists’ studios, exhibitions and more.
